Welcome to LakshyaWiki!
From LakshyaWiki
Project Lakshya is a non profit initiative focusing on helping school students, in India, to make smarter career decisions. This LakshyaWiki is a collection of career related articles written by the Lakshya community. These articles are written for school students (classes IX to XII). Please click on [Index of pages] in the navigation section on sidebar to find an article of your interest. If you are a student, you may want to start with how to choose a career.
You can join the Lakshya community by clicking [log in / create account] on the top right corner. Any member of the community can edit any article except some protected articles. For example this [Main Page] is a protected article. Also all articles (including this one) have an associated [discussion] page where community members can post suggestions on improving the article. While using LakshyaWiki, if you get stuck with something, click [Help] in the navigation section.
You can find a list of top contributors to any article by hovering over [Main contributors] in toolbox section. To know more about a contributor click on his/her name. Every member of the Lakshya community has a [user page] which only the user can edit. However any member of the community can edit [discussion] page of any [user page]. Contributors to a page usually have the [page] and its associated [discussion] page added to their watch list so that they can get automatic alerts about changes.
An introduction to LakshyaWiki and Project Lakshya is on [About LakshyaWiki] page in the bottom bar. Please post comments about LakshyaWiki itself on the [discussion] page of [About LakshyaWiki] page.

Rules
There are none. Once you join the Lakshya community, feel free to edit whatever you want and add whatever you want. However, remember that the community is watching. You may want to consider the following as guidelines:
- Be professional and respectful at all times, we are all working towards a common goal
- Read both the [page] and the associated [discussion] page before changing articles, if in doubt post your thoughts on the [discussion] page
- When thinking about articles always have a school student (classes IX to XII) in mind
- Express your personal opinions in the [discussion] page, make minimum use of “I” in the article [page]. Except for articles having a title starting with “A day in the life of..."
- Make links to related pages instead of rewriting the same thing
- After posting a message on a [discussion] page add ~~~~ which translates to your signature in this format: Kapil Rawat 13:22, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
